North Caldwell Schools

The North Caldwell School District has an elementary school and a middle school.  High school students attend the regional West Essex High School.

The Gould School is an intermediate-level school in the northwestern part of Essex County with an enrollment of approximately 300 students in grades 4-6. The average class size is 20.

Hillside Elementary School, Montclair, New Jersey

As of the 2013-14 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,088 students and 93.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.7:1. 

The West Essex Regional School District serves students from four municipalities in western Essex County. Communities served by the district's schools are Essex Fells, Fairfield, North Caldwell, and Roseland.  

The school was the 25th-ranked public high school in New Jersey out of 339 schools statewide in New Jersey Monthly magazine's September 2014 cover story

The Grandview School serves pre-school through 3rd grade.  The staff focuses on the social, emotional and educational development of our youngsters by fostering an environment where individual and collaborative efforts towards learning are encouraged.
